Anti-Ragging Cell

Mawlai’s School of Technology maintains a zero-tolerance policy against ragging in any form — ensuring a safe and respectful campus environment.

About Anti-Ragging Policy

Ragging in any form is a criminal offence as per the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, the University Grants Commission (UGC), and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Mawlai’s School of Technology (MST), Shillong, under the Central University Act 2009, follows a strict anti-ragging policy and disciplinary framework to eliminate all forms of harassment and ensure that every student feels secure and respected.

The institute ensures that every student, parent, and guardian is aware of these provisions during the time of admission, and all students are required to submit an online anti-ragging undertaking as per AICTE & UGC guidelines.

How to Report Ragging

Confidentiality Assured: All complaints will be handled with strict confidentiality. Victims or witnesses will not face any retaliation.
